Answer: Don't wear anything with slick material. 90% of forever 21 dresses are like this and are not appropriate for an event like this. I would do a fairly simple dress honestly. Here are a few options

Im taking my wife to Charlie Trotters in Chicago for our anniversary, 6pm or 9pm dinner?
This will be our 5 year anniversary and so Ive reserved the kitchen table for us. However, it can only be reserved at 6pm or 9pm. Has anyone eaten there and do you have a suggestion? Also, Im thinking about bringing my own bottle of wine even though theres a $50 corkage fee...is the wine pairing really expensive? Thanks!
Answer: Neither....Charlie Trotter's hasn't been good for years. Charlie hasn't cooked their for years and he's gotten real lazy in updating his selections.
I would recommend any of the other fine dining restaurants in Chicago and I would highly recommend Alinea for a true cutting edge fine dining experience featuring the most innovative chef in the City, Grant Atchez.

What is the most expensive restaurant in Chicago?
Money is not an issue. I wish to find the most expensive place to eat in the whole city. Also, any prices would be greatly appreciated, specifically of their most expensive dish. Thank you.
Answer: Not sure if most expensive, although with wine pairing it could be, but considered the best: Alinea. I think it was the only (or one of the few) US restaurant to make the Top 20 restaurants in the world. Probably can't get a reservation for a while.
It's sort of taken the glamor away from Charlie Trotter's, which is still a top restaurant and still uber expensive.
Both are "price fix" chef's choice (pre-determined menu), and it's best to do with the wine pairing (which also like doubles the bill). Both are a phenom experience, but Alinea is unlike anything else out there.

Answer: My god, there are so many truly great restaurants in Chicago (and suburbs) that I would not know where to begin. I guess it really depends on what kinda food you like or want to try. Anyway, let me suggest the following that I personally know and recommend:
1- Tsuki - a great Japanese restaurant (you must try this one)
2- Ambria - A wonderful French restaurant
3- Le Français - Great French food and very romantic
4- Keefer's - A great popular place, wonderful steaks, etc.
5- Reza's - Great Persian Food
6- Tallgrass - wonderful contemporary food
7- Avenues - also great contemporary food
8- Boka - Great menu
9- Everest - French + romantic setting
10- Charlie Trotter's - One of the best in the world but a lil' pricey
11- Tru - a magical sort of place
12- Pizzeria Uno - a Chicago classic
13- The Art of Pizza - my favorite Pizza
14- Vivere - Italian food
15- Spiaggio - Italian food (great)
16- Heat - Japanese (upscale)

Hello I found A bunch of Mushrooms this year in my woods and im planning on selling them because i have too much to eat!!! I would appreciate if you could help me figure out how much to sell them for THANKS!!!!!!
Answer: I saw a 1 oz. package of dried morels at Whole Foods the other day for around $25 - that's over $350 per pound. Saw fresh ones there once for $45 per pound.
Before you get dreams of making your living in the spring for a month or two collecting morels, you should check your local farmer's market. They often are selling morels during the springtime, and they go for anywhere from $15 to $25 or more per pound.
You could alternatively find a gourmet restaurant that deals in local foods, wild or cultivated (Charlie Trotter's in Chicago, for example), and see if they would be interested. You could possibly get more per pound, but would need to deliver it to a harder to reach area. Good luck.

Answer: I did a search on romantic spots, it came back with a site that suggested the Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain and Garden or the lounge at the top of the John Hancock building. You can also try to do a search for local plays, musical or dance performances.

Many places are famous for doing a particular food very well. How about your area? What is your famous food?
I am from Chicago and we are famous for several types of foods, from simple and cheap to the very high class and expensive. We have world famous restaurants here like Charlie Trotters and hot dog vendors who walk the streets with a large hot dog kart on wheels.
Our famous foods are stuffed pizza. Chicago style hot dogs and Polish sausages from Maxwell Street. Hot Italian beef sandwiches sometimes with Italian sausage and sweet peppers.
Answer: New England offers a wide variety of food depending on what area you're in. New England is famous for clambakes and seafood dishes. In Boston, there's Chef Jasper White's Seafood Shacks which offers a casual and friendly atmosphere and high quality seafood specialties.. There's also Legal Seafoods, ( a chain but good) which I've visited on several occasions when visiting Boston. I love Scrod so I always seek that dish out and have never been disappointed in it's taste or quality.
In many of the smaller towns in New England you'll find some pretty amazing cooks who prepare monthly suppers for their churches, to raise money. Often they will offer tasty and hearty homemade beans and ham ,and an assortment of pies.
Lots of variety in New England and loads of eateries to visit with varied price ranges.

What to wear to the Clubhouse Restaurant in Oak Brook, IL?
Im a city girl and very rarely venture out to the burbs for anything but Ive been invited to a dinner In Oak Brook at some place called The Clubhouse. Soooooo has anyone been there? What should I wear? Is it very posh like Tru or Charlie Trotters or just regular? HELP!
Answer: I've been to this restaurant more than 20 times, and I usually wear "business casual" attire (i.e. khaki pants and a button up shirt). My wife will usually wear dress slacks or a skirt and a nice shirt or sweater. People do wear jeans there, but I'd say make sure you wear nice jeans.
FYI...I recommend the tuscan sliders, chicken romano, or the seared tuna. They also have awesome spinach/artichoke dip as an appetizer.

Alinea, Everest and Spiaggia are also top restaurants in downtown Chicago.
Well, if you’re looking for affordable restaurants in downtown chicago, I think you just can’t miss Downtown Dogs (famous for their affordable hot dogs), Devon Seafood Grill (cheap and tasty seafood).
Besides, there’re many other affordable options for you to choose from.
