Adverts such as the Sunblock 5000 in Robocop 2. I dont see the point of them. Is it to give the viewer a greater understanding of the context?
Answer: Probably just the writer/director's idea of poking fun at the commercials of the time. Making fun of consumerism.

If Tochiozan wins today, then hell be 2 wins and 13 losses, a very bad record indeed. But at least, hell have the consolation of winning his fight in the last day of the tournament. How about Takamisakari (Robocop to the fans due to his somewhat mechanical movements in the rituals of the dohyo) was his record positive?
Answer: Good that Tochiozan won his match with a yorikiri maneuver against Bushuyama, and he is 2 wins and 13 losses. He has a dismal record that he will most certainly be demoted.
Takamisakari lost his fight today to Goeido by a yorikiri move. His record is also dismal at 6 wins and 9 losses. He could probably be demoted too.

Takamisakari who is ranked a Maegashira #4 had used this sumo move once and it was very effective. Robocop had attained the rank of a komosubi, a sanyaku, but now is reduced to maegashira, and next tournament might become lower due to his negative performance in the last honbasho, at 6 wins and 9 losses. A dismal rating, really. And he is now aging, at 33 years old. What is this technique he used once that was most effective?
Answer: It is called Kirikaeshi or twisting backward knee trip. A hard feat indeed but a very effective kimarite maneuver.
Kirikaeshi (twisting backward knee trip) - The attacker will take a deep step forward with his lead leg so his knee is placed behind his opponent's lead leg. He will then throw the opponent by twisting him backwards and over that knee.
Yes, indeed, Takamisakari or Robocop is now aging and at 33 years old, it would be difficult for him to return to the sanyaku rank, of being a komusubi, a sekiwake or an ozeki. Anyway, at lower ranks below Maegashira #10 he could be almost unbeatable.

What are your thoughts onthe new robocop?
I myself dont really like the look of the new robocop it looks like a power ranger. It wont live up to the classic films.
Answer: im pretty sure robocop only works because it was made in the 80s, where things werent nearly as hightech
so seeing this clunky, slow moving machine man with a big gun was like cool/futuristic and the movie as a whole had a sort of charm too it. Probably holds more charm now, since it has that vintage feel.
i dont think 2012 high tech, power ranger man is gonna work out like old robocop did. The movie should hold some entertainment value though.

What do you think of a robocop reboot?
I loved the original RoboCop movie, the second was okay, and the third was a descent popcorn movie. What do you think of a reboot being made? I look forward to it.
Answer: It depends. Firstly if they're going to make a Robocop movie they should just do another sequel and try to make it good like the first two. I feel Peter Weller is the only guy that can play Robocop well, but he maybe too old now. The movie also has to be violent like the first two and not a popcorn movie for kids. And they should not change the design of the Robocop suit!!!. If they do change it, then for me it's really no longer a Robocop movie.
