Project on Bonnie and Clyde. Any possible ideas of a board game based off of them?
I am doing a project on Bonnie and Clyde for history. I need to make a board game on the topic. Any ideas of how the game would be played/ how i should set it up? Thankyou!
Answer: There is a Bonnie and Clyde game but it is a Rummy variant: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/16320/bonnie-and-clyde
Gee, Bonnie and Clyde robbed banks until they were betrayed and gunned down. One player is B&C going around the gameboard robbing banks until the other player can move his men around to corner them.
Check Boardgame Geek for other gangster themed games such as Organized Crime, The Brotherhood, Family Business, Mafia Wars, Blood Feud in New York, and The Roaring 20's to see how noted publishers have handled the theme.

I am doing a project on Bonnie and Clyde for history. I need to make a board game on the topic. Any ideas of how the game would be played/ how i should set it up? Thankyou!
Answer: wow, what a great idea for a board game, would love to play that one.
you wanna base it similar to a game that already exists, maybe like monopoly. although i;m not good at that one. you could google bonnie and clyde and they will give you a list pretty much of every bank they robbed, plus the people they were accused of killing..some they did, some they did not. get a list of the names of the people in their gang, mostly i believe it was cw moss and clyde's brother buck and his wife blanche.
make a stack of cards asking questions, like what was clyde's brother's name...if the person gets it right he can move so many spaces on the board.
if they get it wrong, they get shot or thrown in jail..something like that.
you know how they were killed, i guess whenever someone ends up in the car with both bonnie and Clyde together, the winner is the one you machine guns the car...god this is getting really sick..ha
you know they had a game out years ago when the god father movie was so popular. it was great
it actually came in a violin case (cause a lot of time the mobsters in those days would carry a machine gun in a base case) anyway, in that board game you could take over the booze on the north side, or south side, open up speak easies, and even put out a hit on one of your opponents.
wish i knew what i did with it.

How did the public view Bonnie and Clyde in the thirties?
I was looking up information on them and was wondering how the public viewed them. Some sites say people feared them because they were of course murders. Police, I know, would have wanted to catch them. However, some sites make it sound as though people liked following the story and saw Bonnie and Clyde as romantic heroes. I have never seen the film but have read that the movie also makes them likeable to the audience. So... How did people in the thirties actual feel about Bonnie and Clyde from their first crime to their death.
Answer: I saw a documentery about them. At Clyde's funeral 5,000
showed up there, for many reasons. because he was famous ,infamous, some idolized him some glad hes dead.
The ones who admired him because the times were in the depression. sort of get back at the system.

Where does a Bonnie & Clyde life lead: to true love and happiness or to a mental institution?
Bonnie and Clyde dont know true love, only an abusive power struggle in which they feed each others darkest fantasies against others members of society. Moreover, in such fragile relationships based on fear and intimidation, rather than respect or compatibility, the partners must continually feed each other hatred against the whole world in order to maintain their fragile bond, such as to isolate the other and emprison each other in a web of slander and lies.
Does this road lead to true love and happiness or to their further alienation from reality and from society?
Remember the meaning of alienation = distancing one self from reality and from society.
Meanwhile, the partners very well know theyre maintaining their relationship through lies and intimidation: they know they are fed lies, they are also emotionally abused continually: debasing and diminishing continually each other, being controlled and bullied, so that they are also accumulating unbearable hatred and resentment. All this is a result of dealing with evil.

Writing a story based on Bonnie and Clyde help?
Ive gotten an idea for a story, based off of Bonnie and Clydes story. However, mine will be in modern times versus the 1930s, so this is where Im at a block. This is going to sound strange, but Im not exactly sure how to successfully get away with robberies and such with all the technology nowadays. Ive tried researching it on the internet. The best I could do without making my search history really shady is how to write crimes from a detective/cops POV, but my MC is going to be the "Bonnie" of the story so I need to know all the mechanics and such. It doesnt have to be extremely detailed, because Im not planning on writing any huge, bank robbing type scenes, mostly just stores and the like. Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)
Answer: I suggest you join the crime scene writers group, where actual cops and and a CSI answer questions for crime writers.

How would you shorten or revise this thesis statement on Bonnie and Clyde?
Im writing a research paper on Bonnie and Clyde and we have to have an argument, so I decided to write about how Bonnie was pulled into the mess and never committed a crime so harsh as to be killed for it and this is my rough thesis statement.
In the case of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow there is much controversy and questions related to the killing of Bonnie who is believed to only have commited the crime of falling in love with a criminal.
How would you shorten or revise this? Thank you.
Answer: In the case of "Bonnie and Clyde" there is much controversy related to the killing of Bonnie who's only crime was falling in love with a criminal.

How much would an old newspaper of Bonnie and Clydes death be worth?
I have an old Denver Post full newspaper from 1934 that titles "Officers Riddle Barrow and Girl with Bullets". Does the value lessen because "Bonnie and Clyde" were not mentioned? The newspaper is pink but in good condition.
There is also a clipping about the Lindberg baby in the paper as well.
Answer: Old newspapers in general at best won't be worth more than $100,-. See link.

Can a Puerto Rican play the Clyde role from the Bonnie and Clyde?
This Friend of mine I think would be perfect in a Bonnie and Clyde movie but he is puerto rican. Are people going to be racist about it if he takes the clyde role?
Answer: I would think so. Clyde Barrow was an American antihero from the Public Enemies days of American history. I assume that people would want him played by an American or at least a white person who can fake a Texas accent. Unless of course your friend happens to look just like him and can do a good Texas accent.

I am getting married next summer and I am trying to find a Bonnie and Clyde cake topper, or even just 1930s themed (which is the theme of my wedding). All that I can find are websites that make cake toppers that look like you. Can anyone help me out?
Answer: Wow, this is a hard one to find premade. But, may I make a suggestion? There are several places which sell Bonnie & Clyde figurines(though they are kind of small. About 2 inches high). Whomever is making your cake may be able to use these figurines creatively, adding icing/marzipan accents, etc. It could be more cost effective than having one custom made.

THE story of Bonnie and Clyde has been told so many times that it has acquired the patina of legend. Its the kind of historical fable that circulates to explain how the world once was and how it came to be the way it is now: a morality tale in which the wild energies of youth defeat the stale certainties of age, and freedom triumphs over - A O Scott article discusses critical reaction to 1966 movie Bonnie and Clyde; says those who did not like it were accused of not getting it; film seemed to introduce new kind of violence into movies, with raw immediate brutality, yet at same time themes of mayhem were choreographed with formal panache that was almost gleeful; photos (L) - By A. What year was 97 bonnie and Clyde made by Eminem?
I heard that 97 bonnie and clyde is the sequel to kim,and I just want to know when 97 bonnie and clyde came out. i also heard that it is also called just the two of us. Please help me im confused.
Answer: I think 1997. It was first featured on The Slim Shady EP (which I think came out in 1997), but back then it was called Just The Two Of Us and had a different beat. It was remixed and retitled '97 Bonnie & Clyde for The Slim Shady LP, which as you probably know came out in 1999. I think he wrote Kim first (maybe in '97), but just didn't release it until after Bonnie & Clyde. Just like you get movies that are prequels, which are released after movies that carry on from them chronologically, eg. Hannibal Rising.
