Is Ed Lauter homosexual?
Just something I heard from a friend. He was on Revenge of the Nerds II, Real Genius, X-Files, Highlander
Answer: Well, Lauter has four children. He attended college on a sports scholarship where he played baseball, football and basketball and he spent two years in the army.
But, I don't suppose any of those things prove he isn't a homosexual.

Ed Lauter Dead — Character Actor Dies From Cancer At 74 ...

Where can I find a animated .gif of Burt Reynolds in "The Longest Yard"?
Something downloadable, if possible, and brief.
Answer: In Robert Aldrich's crowd-pleasing classic, Burt Reynolds stars as convict Paul Crewe, a former football player doing time in a prison controlled by two authoritarian sports fanatics, warden Hazen (Eddie Albert) and captain Knauer (Ed Lauter). When Crewe sees that the guards have a top-notch football team, he takes it upon himself to form a squad with his fellow dispirited inmates. As the prisoners come together, galvanized by the chance to challenge the guards, they begin to experience a sense of purpose and solidarity--and Hazen doesn't like it. With the Penitentiary Bowl approaching, Hazen pressures Crewe to throw the big game. Crewe must choose between his own freedom and supporting the newfound dignity of his convict teammates.
Aldrich brings to THE LONGEST YARD the same humor-spiked, antihero-driven feel for rousing adventure shown in THE DIRTY DOZEN and creates a film that matches gridiron favorites NORTH DALLAS FORTY and SEMI-TOUGH while also comparing to classics such as ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST, STALAG 17, and THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION that reveal the soul-crushing aspects of life under lock and key. Like the latter films, Aldrich's darkly funny, bone-crunching drama succeeds most enduringly by showing the small, barbed, fiercely beautiful refusal of the spirit to surrender.

The Three Wishes of Billy Grier (1984 TV movie)
starring Ralph Macchio, Betty Buckley, Hal Holbrook, Season Hubley, Jeffrey Tambor, Lawrence Pressman, Conchata Ferrell, Ed Lauter, Viveca Lindfors, Laura Dern
Wikipedia synopsis:
Plot
Ralph Macchio plays Billy Grier, the 15-year-old victim of a rare degenerative disease that speeds up the aging process. After Billy suddenly becomes ill, a series of tests are run, with the diagnosis tragic. A team of doctors tell Billy and his mother Nancy (Betty Buckley) that there is no cure for his condition and that he will die of old age related natural causes decades before his time. Shortly after this, Billy breaks down following a rage-filled rant where he destroys almost everything in his bedroom. With only a few months left to live, Billy hopes to realize three goals: He wants to be reunited with his long-gone father; play his saxophone in a jazz band; and to make love to a woman for the first time.
NOTE: The presentation of the syndrome differs from what actually happens but likely introduced many people to the disorder.

Answer: Timerider: The Adventure of Lyle Swann (1982)
aka Timerider
IMDb review:
Fred Ward gives a typically credible and engaging performance as Lyle Swann, a hotshot off-road motorcycle champion who becomes lost in the Mexican desert while in the middle of a motorcross race. Swann accidentally stumbles across a top secret government base that's conducting a time travel experiment and gets transported back to 1877. Grimy, vicious desperado Peter Coyote and his two dumb, craven, greasy, unwashed scuzzbag partners (marvelously played by the ever-grubby Tracey Walter and an uncharacteristically nasty Richard Masur) want to steal Swann's wheels. Swann seeks refuge in a small, remote Mexican village. The God-fearing peasant locals think Swann is the devil incarnate. Only priest Ed Lauter and fiery, fetching femme Claire (the highly alluring and enticing Belinda Bauer) treat Swann with any hospitality and become his sole allies, protecting him from both Coyote's gang and a couple of bothersome federal marshals (one of 'em is grizzled Sam Peckinpah movie regular L.Q. Jones).

How old is dillon and Cole Sprouse?
I Love Them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Answer: here if u love them this should help
The Sprouses were born in Arezzo, Italy to American parents Matthew Sprouse and Melanie Wright who at the time were teaching at an English language school in Italy. Dylan, named after poet Dylan Thomas[3], is 14 minutes and 30 seconds older than Cole,[4] who is named for jazz singer and pianist Nat King Cole.[5] The twins moved back to the United States four months after their birth. They grew up in their parents' native Long Beach, California. Their parents divorced in 1997.[6]
Acting careers
After a suggestion by their grandmother, Jonine Booth Wright, who was a drama teacher and actress, the Sprouses began acting at the age of six months, started with the twosome appearing in a commercial for toilet paper switching on-screen time every few seconds. As with many identical twin actors, the two have often played the same role, allowing more time for the character to be filmed. From 1993 to 1998 at the age of six months, the two starred on the ABC-TV series Grace Under Fire, playing one character, Patrick Kelly.
In 1999, the twins appeared in their first major feature film, Big Daddy, in which they shared a role of a five-year old boy named 'Julian' who is adopted by Adam Sandler's character 'Sonny Koufax'. That year, the twins collaborated with Sandler on the second version of The Chanukah Song, and the twins also had a minor role in the thriller The Astronaut's Wife. The Sprouses have noted that after Big Daddy's release, the two entered into a slow period in their careers and were not cast in any major roles for a time.[1] During the early 2000s, the twins appeared in episodes of the The Nightmare Room and That '70s Show, as well as in MADtv: Season Four (1998-1999) (episode #425) and the feature films The Master of Disguise and a voice-over role in Adam Sandler's Eight Crazy Nights. In 2001, Cole started appearing in episodes of the television show Friends, as Ross Geller's son Ben. Many people think it was a shared role, however their web site and other credible sources specify that Dylan did not appear in any episodes.
Between the years of 2002 and 2003, the two starred in I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus and Just for Kicks, both of which were family films that received a direct-to-video release. The Sprouses were subsequently cast in the Disney Channel original series The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, where they play identical twins Zack (Dylan)and Cody(Cole)Martin . The series, which debuted in March 2005, has become a ratings success[1] and the twins have become very well known among pre-teen and teen audiences. As part of their involvement with Disney, the brothers are now part of the 11-member group, the Disney Channel Circle of Stars, and sang the song A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes along with the members of the circle, for a video that was released as bonus material in the special edition version of the Disney film Cinderella. The Sprouses also participated in the Disney Channel Games 2006, which began airing in June of 2006. Dylan was on the Red Team, while Cole was on the Blue Team. The twins were asked back for the Disney Channel Games 2007. Dylan was the Captain of the Green Team( the winning team of 2007), while Cole returned to the Blue Team. In Disney Channel Games 2008, Cole and Dylan will both be on the yellow team. Cole Sprouse will be the captain. Dylan Sprouse will be a member.
The Sprouses played one character, Jeremiah, in the independent film The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, which was produced in 2004 but not given a theatrical release until March of 2006, when it played in a total of three theatres across the United States, ultimately grossing $29,000 domestically.[7] As of November 2006, the two are filming the Sony Pictures film The Prince and the Pauper, which also stars Sally Kellerman, Ed Lauter and Dedee Pfeiffer, in Palm Beach, Florida; filming began in October and ended by December.[8] The Prince and the Pauper will come out on dvd on February 5th, 2008. It was also recently announced that The Suite Life of Zack & Cody will be shooting a third season.[9] The two also lent their voices to a movie called Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn't Happen, which also features the voices of fellow Disney Channel stars Brenda Song and Emily Osment.[10] As of late November 2007, they are filming a new movie called Kings of Appletown which is based on Tom Sawyer. It is directed by Bobby Moresco and written by Amanda Moresco. Also starring in it is Victoria Justice from Nickolodeon's Zoey 101. [11] It is being filmed in New Braunfels, TX and is estimated to be released around Christmas 2008.[12]
"Sprouse Bros." brand
In September 2005, the Sprouses signed a licensing agreement with Dualstar Entertainment to create a new commercial brand, entitled "Sprouse Bros", which will include DVD movies, CDs, clothing, sports gear, video games, ring tones and deodorants[1] targeted towards preteen and teen audiences. Dualstar has partnered with Leisure Publishing LLC to create a magazine called Sprouse Bros. Code, which will target boys ages 8-14 with a guide on recent trends favored by the Sprouses; Cole Sprouse has stated that the magazine will appeal to "people who are our age and boys. We don't want anything too girlie",[13] while Dylan has said that it will have "something that will appeal to everybody".[14] The first issue became available on July 18, 2006.[15]
In September of 2006, the Sprouse brothers, represented by Dualstar Entertainment, signed a book deal with Simon Spotlight, a publishing company, to release a spy book series that will utilize the "Sprouse Bros." brand. The book series, which is scheduled for release in the summer of 2007, has been described by the publisher as featuring the Sprouses as "young James Bonds or undercover agents".[16]
In June of 2007, Simon & Schuster Inc. published the first two volumes of Sprouse Bros. 47 R.O.N.I.N. The series is about 15 year-old twin brothers Tom and Mitch who learn that their father and live-in butler are members of a rogue crime-fighting organization, R.O.N.I.N., which dates back to feudal Japan; that their father is in danger; and that they have just been recruited to join their father's clan.[17] As of December 2007, there are 4 books out: The Revelation, The Showdown, The Getaway and The Siege.
Personal lives
Dylan Sprouse has stated that the experience of coming to fame after the success of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody is "kind of scary, how fast everything is moving. Just a year ago none of this was happening, it was just doing 'Suite Life,' and now I can't wait for what's in store..."[13] While filming The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, the two received on-set tutoring for three hours each day.[1] According to an August, 2007, interview in Parade Magazine, they earn "Straight A's and Honors" in their schoolwork.[3] According to Dylan in the August 2007 edition of J-14, the last girl he dated was Miley Cyrus after she guest starred on The Suite Life.

How do you do an MLA in-text parental citation for an anthology?
Answer: In text it is just author and page number that refers to where it is found in the anthology (Crane 513). Then for your works cited page it is as follows:
author. title of work in the anthology in quotes (if poem, short story, or essay). anthology name (in italics). Editor and translators. City where published: publishing house. date. page numbers of the work that appears in an anthology.
So it should look like this:
Crane, Stephen. “The Open Boat”. The Heath Anthology of American Literature, Volume Two. Ed. Paul Lauter et al. Boston: Houghton Mifflin. 2002. 503-520.

What is a movie with a plot between grease and dirty dancing?
Im looking for a movie I watched a few years ago, it has the plot kind of like grease and dirty dancing.
This is what I can remember of the plot: A girl moved pretty recently because her father got remarried, she goes to a catholic private school. She makes friend with an punk because they both like this dancing TV show. She and this boy try to get on it together.
Answer: Girls Just Want to Have Fun (1985)
Wikipedia synopsis excerpt:
Janey Glenn (Sarah Jessica Parker) is an army brat who is thrilled when her father (Ed Lauter) is transferred to Chicago, the home of her favorite dance show Dance TV. At her Catholic school she quickly makes a new friend in Lynne Stone (Helen Hunt) due to their shared love of dance and Dance TV. When her strict and conservative dad nixes the idea of her traveling to downtown Chicago to try out, Janey accompanies Lynne to the auditions.
At the auditions, an enemy is made of spoiled rich girl Natalie Sands (Holly Gagnier) when she rudely parks her car where Lynne is walking. The auditions are going well until Lynne's partner gets her cut (it is later found out that Natalie paid him to have her kicked out). Janey and a dreamboat named Jeff (Lee Montgomery) both shine, albeit partnered with others at first. They are later paired once the final cut is made. Jeff loves to dance although his father is drilling him to go to trade school and is following his heart instead of his father's wishes.
The two butt heads initially due to their disparate upbringings. Despite Jeff's natural ability to dance, he has never taken a class. Janey has been taking both gymnastics and dance classes for 10 years.

PLEASE, PLEASE does ANYONE know the name of this film?! BEST ANSWER WILL BE GIVEN!?
There was this OLD 1970s or 1980s horror film that I believe starred Ed Lauter as a minister or priest and it starts, I believe with a white mom, dad, son and daughter, and theyre in this van or RV driving on a road on a cloudy day, when the son or daughter I believe, says he has to use the bathroom and the husband doesnt want to stop because theres no where to stop at, since theyre driving on a road with no houses, stores or anything in sight but the daughter (or son) still says he has to use the bathroom, and the mom pleads with the husband to stop to let the daughter (or son) use the bathroom, so the husband stops on the side of the road where there is a single, big rock in the middle of a low cut grassy area, and the son gets out and uses the bathroom behind the rock and the husband decided to get out to use the bathroom as well, since theyre stopped anyway, so when the husband and son does go to use the bathroom, something minor but bad happens to them, I cant remember what, its been so long and then later in the movie, the family goes to this BIG house--(or it could have been a church, I cant remember), I believe, thats behind a tall black iron fence and the house or church, had a cemetery on the grounds and the family meets up with this minister or priest (who I believe is Lauter) who has on this ankle length black robe with a white clerics collar and the minister or priest had little to no hair on his head, and looked to be in his late to early fifties, and the minister or priest, at the end of the film, becomes possessed by the devil or a demon and then at the end of the film, the dad of the family goes into the church and sees the minister or priest has COMPLETELY torn up the inside of the church (because hes possessed) and the priest or minister gets in a fight with the dad and the dad ends up torching the church with the minister or priest inside and the family gets away and I think that was the end of the film. So does anyone know AT all what the name of that film might be? Does anything Ive described sound like a familiar movie you might have seen, PLEASE help because Ive been looking for this film for YEARS but cant find it because I dont know the name. Thanks so much.
Answer: I don't think it's Ed Lauter, at least not from the '70s or '80s.
He only appeared in three horror movies in those decades, and he didn't play a priest in any of them.
The only films in which he played priests are the Number 23 and the realistic thriller, Night of Terror.
