Who can throw down in a kitchen Rachel Ray or Paula Deen?

I would like to see Rachel Ray & Paula Deen go toe to toe in the kitchen on the Food Network & raise money from some sort of charity.I would donate 1,500 dollars to Paula Deen & the charity she will be sponsoring.So who will you chose?

Answer: There are two totally different schools of thought on this question.

It would depend as to which type of cooking style one prefers. Rachael Ray cooks a variety of different styles, while Paula Deen stays traditionally to Southern charm.

This being said, my own preference is Paula Deen.

What do you think of Paula Deens Cooking Show?

Now can someone tell me why Paula Deen (Albany Georgia USA) hasnt had a heart attack already? I mean, have you seen her show and the stuff she cooks up? Then she gets her son Bubba on there helping her and they make the richest, greasiest, cholesterol filled dishes that could be invented.
Whats her secret to longevity being she is 62 years of age now and still around after years of eating that kind of stuff?

Answer: She's a gem in the kitchen for sure. My momma and her momma cooked like that but i dont do that. Sure its good but it aint good for your heart or the rest of your guts. She is just happy go lucky and loves to cook. I reckon being happy is her secret to longevity. OH and i can do a mean Paula accent too.

Now that the food network has dropped Paula Deen I feel that intelligent people will Ill be justified in dropping the food network

Answer: I rarely tune in any of the cooking channels! I find them idiotic to the max!

However, I will be definitely be on the hunt for the PD cookbooks I do not currently own!

If I were in her shoes I would be saying all kinds of unladylike words and not just that one. And the little *itch who prefered charges of bad language should be slapped until she is ready to concede she is partially to blame for being employeed at any of the PD establishments. And I recommend that PD get really selective about employees and make them mad sooner and see how they respond.

Most kitchens are a family!! Not a bunch of crybabies who get insulted easily!!

½ cup butter, softened
½ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 4-oz. bar German’s sweet chocolate, melted
1-1/4 cups flour

In a large bowl beat butter and sugars with an electric mixer until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and stir until combined. Add the melted chocolate and stir until combined.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture, beating until combined. Stir in the coconut and pecans. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto the cookie sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies are set in the center. Let cool on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes and then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.

I received a Paula Deen Candle that the candle comes in a little iron skillet. Is the skillet reusable as in can I use it to cook with once the candle is used up? Or is it just for decorative purposes? I havent been able to find anything that gives any information on the candle its self.

Earlier this year Paula Deen made a dessert with Glazed dounuts, Krispy Kream, and im trying to find the Episode or recipe. I think it was a write in recipe, can anyone help me?

Answer: This recipe, from Paula Deen, in general, received very good reviews. Some people thought that it was too dry and added an extra egg and an extra 1/2 cup of evaporated milk so you may want to try doing that. Enjoy!

BREAD PUDDING WITH BUTTER RUM SAUCE

Yield: about 12 servings

2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
2 (4.5-ounce) cans fruit cocktail (undrained)
2 eggs, beaten
1 (9-ounce) box raisins
1 pinch salt
1 or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Butter Rum Sauce, recipe follows

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Cube donuts into a large bowl. Pour other ingredients on top of donuts and let soak for a few minutes. Mix all ingredients together until donuts have soaked up the liquid as much as possible.

Bake for about 1 hour until center has jelled. Top with Butter Rum Sauce.

BUTTER RUM SAUCE:
1 stick butter
1 pound box confectioners' sugar
Rum, to taste

Melt butter and slowly stir in confectioners' sugar. Add rum and heat until bubbly. Pour over each serving of Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding.
